Wind Swept -24x36 Canvas/Acrylic Painting - 2021 -
I've had this painting in mind for years but it seems to have been waiting to surface until now. We've collectively been experiencing a great storm for some time now, a storm of the heart and mind, of our worldly environment, of the spirit. Originally this image in my mind was a girl trying for all she's worth to light a cigarette while the storm rages around her. While I still like the image of that, I rethought it and repainted it to be yet another Light Bearer painting - Protecting the flame, harboring the spark, focusing, tending your own inner fire. That Still Small Voice.
